Oddly, I have a similar problem, Manny. You didn't mention the models of your video card(s) and monitors. I am using a Colorgraphic Xentera GT4 AGP with 4 Samsung SyncMaster 213Ts. I have occasionally experienced a problem with unclear text on the 4th monitor. It appears as if every other line is not being displayed. However, the problem is quickly solved by turning the monitor off and then back on. I will probably wind-up having the monitor replaced under warranty. You shouldn't have to turn the monitor off and back on to get the picture to look right... Actually, I will probably wind-up having 2 or more of them replaced under warranty. I am still evaluating all of the problems... The 4 monitors are quite inconsistent as to color and brightness. I had to get a Colorvision Spider (color probe) and software to match them - otherwise I'd have gone crazy. Problem is, I'm not sure how much variation is normal. I do suspect that monitor #2 is way out of range on brightness, though. Color temperatures also vary widely. (But the calibration software is able to match them very closely.) Then, there is the problem is the "purple sparklies" on monitor #3. This seems to be a cable problem, after doing some troubleshooting switching cables around. (i.e. the problem moves to another monitor if I swap cables.) I am not sure if it is the cable supplied with the monitor, or the short adapter cable supplied by Colorgraphic. I just ordered a couple of spares from Colorgraphic, since these seem rather delicate, and likely to fail in any case.
