the Bushies have put a serious cramp in the Al Quida MO and they have de-commissioned the Taliban in Afghanistan, if we were to eliminate OBL tomorrow it would still take another 50 years to totally dismantle the Al Quida networks, they are all over the world, a festering, cancerous, malignant distortion of Islamic teaching.
the Bushies will go down in history as the administration and people, specifically G Bush, Rice, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Powell, as the central charachters that started the reversal of Global Terrorism, the people that stood up to terrorism and reacted to it in the face of world mistrust and confusion, ...it is a good thing.

Clarke is a registered Republican, a confirmed conservative, an intellectual realist and a great American that gave at least 30 years of his life to serving America in the hallowed and dangerous halls of Langley, the farm, the CIA...he is also a bureauocrat of the 1st order, a scorned player, a passed over zealot, he is one of our best in counter terrorism but he is pissed and in the throes of getting his book published, should be #1 on the best seller list by Monday...what he says does not really hurt us or betray us but is his perception of how Bush, Clinton, others have responded or not responded to his specific advice and consul, I think he thinks he should have Rices job or at the very least a new position created for himself....
