What we care is what is happening today with the economy and the war on terrorism. We care what is happening in Iraq. We know that it was a mistake to go to Iraq. When 4 US dead bodies are dragged through the streets, it does not tell me that the US folks are treated as liberators. They are viewed as occupiers of Iraq for thei oil. When the Bush Administration does not throw open the gates for Iraqi redevelopment to the world and restricts it to American companies, the Iraqis consider the US as occupiers.

US has stated that they went to take out Saddam; regime change. They got Saddam. Can anyone tell me what specific interest the US has in Iraq today that other nations would not have. Bush's difference with the rest of the world was regime change because of WMD threat. That's done.
