I think he said that he had been in contact with several foreign leaders who said they supported his candidacy.

Why should he name them if their support was given in private? After all these leaders may have to endure another 4 years of working with Bush, and may have expressed their support privately. Would it be wrong for Kerry to say who the leaders are if they gave their support in such a private manner?

Personaly I have not followed this issue. Sounds like something Right Wing radio would harp on.
