Nadine, what do you see as a solution to the Palestinian problem...?

I don't keep solutions in my pocket. But trying to solve anything with Arafat in place is like trying to solve Iraq with Saddam in place. There is real desire among the Palestinians for democratic reform; if Arafat is gone (realistically, he needs to die) and Abu Ala takes power there might be a glimmer of hope. But Arab politics is usually all about naked personal power struggles, not democratic institutions.

So regime change first.
