Not sure I understand the rest of your set up. Are your other three monitors CRTs? And you have just the one new one LCD? If so, you should enable "clear type". LCD's look much better when this is activated. Also make sure you are running the LCD monitor at its "native" refresh rate, else that can also screw up resolution.
