I am reminded of Nixon's Silent Majority in 1972

he claimed that the anti-war movement had its heavy numbers

BUT THE SILENT MAJORITY WAS IN SUPPORT OF HIM
THEY WERE QUIET, FAR MORE NUMEROUS, AND STEADFAST IN LOYALTY

I am reminded of them when I hear of small business job creation
it is assumed at 50,000 jobs per month
month in and month out, as long as GDP growth is present

my guess is the jobs report is cooked, but slightly up
the truth lies in the assumptions, which are kept quiet
we have a silent majority of screwball economic assumptions
