John, my "foot in mouth" comment was referring solely to Kos' rant about the 4 guards murdered and mutilated, not any political analyses he's done. He caught hell from blogs of a variety of political opinion, then tried to disassociate himself from it ("I wrote in some diary comments somewhere" ?????) and rationalize it, and make it "disappear." What was clear was that he meant it. How long the anger will last, and whether or not it has a permanent effect on his blog's influence, I dunno. It left a nasty taste in my mouth, though.
