Cure the problem by addressing its roots.

What, you want to try and address the problem by burning the plant above ground and hope it doesn't regrow, split into more plants, send out tendrils or otherwise reappear years later? With 6.5 billion of us headed towards an estimated 11 billion of us by 2050, we are always going to have terrorists.

That is not true. Prove it.
