See, the system works. You have assessed the reported material and concluded that Clarke is utterly lacking in credibility. Elsewhere, others are also reviewing the material and drawing conclusions. That's what's supposed to happen. I have formed a few tentative conclusions, although us nuanced types do take a bit longer to firm up our judgments. <g>

Look at the polls.

I responded to a Zogby poll yesterday. It asked several questions about the Clarke business. One of the questions it asked I hadn't even considered, which is whether or not Clarke's apology was the right thing to do for the victims' families. I had to give a "not sure" answer to that one, given that I can't often come up with opinions on a dime. Had you seen that question raised before?
