I am questioning the honesty of Bush and especially Cheney. When Republican John Dean calls them "worse than Watergate" and Republicans Clarke and O'Neil (among others) blow the whistle on lies and corruption, you know that corruption is very real. It actually goes much deeper, and it's mostly centered around OIL and other energy sources, what butters the Bush-Cheney bread.

When you start folllowing the money you start seeing the whole picture. The Bush-Cheney regime is all about a massive redistribution of wealth from the public to private sector, and in that private sector the Bush-Cheney favorite recipients are big energy, big drugs, big HMO's, big construction, big defense. Also, timber, mining and ranching interests. But energy is the key for them. They will end up looting several trillion dollars from the public if we let them. They are already halfway there.
