March jobs growth may be a one-time event. Though there aere hopeful signs, about half the jobs were as a result of a one-time event, that is the end of the California grocery workers strike and the end of a chilly winter so construction projects are starting up for the year. The third biggest growth was in HMO's as health care costs keep rising. Security and energy are healthy sectors. Notice though no new manufacturing jobs at all. Out-sourcing of our manufacturing continues.
