Thanks for passing that along, NDB. I especially can relate to the first paragraph. Several years ago CWDM proved its worth in a case study that Gordon Cook did on a Canadian network expansion conducted by a couple of netheads, for lack of a more delicate description. At the time it was viewed as a nice thing to do, but most optical purists who had anything to say about it pooh-poohed it as a passing fad, or something that was good only for limited purposes.
