AVG update fix. Apparently they have had another glitch similar to the one a few weeks ago.

Go to my computer/local disk(c:)/program files/grisoft/avg6 and find the file named url.ini. If you don't see the .ini following the file named url you have to go up to tools/folder options/view tab and take the checkmark out of "hide extensions for known file types" and ok your way out. Now rename the url.ini file to urlold.ini

Copy the lines below and paste them into a blank new notepad:

[SERVER_NAME]
1=free.grisoft.cz
2=ftp.grisoft.com
3=www.grisoft.com 1
4=www.grisoft.com 2

[SERVER_URL]
1=http://free.grisoft.cz/softw/60/fe
2=ftp.grisoft.com/pub/softw/60/fe/
3=http://www.grisoft.com/softw/60/fe/
4=http://www.grisoft.com/akm/softw/60/fe/
Actual URL=4

Save the file by using the save as command from the file menu. In the Save as type box use the dropdown arrow and change the file type to "All Files" and save it to your desktop as url.ini .

Now drag the new url.ini to the folder from above and restart AVG. You may have to restart more than once (I think I had to try three or four times and then it worked). This adds another server to your choices of download locations. The one that has been working for me is the grisoft.com 2 entry.
