I'm surprised that Sony is still number one, though that must be due to the impressive marketing muscle of Sony, more so than to its cameras, which often use older technology. I can understand the improvement of Kodak. It's due mainly to offers of Kodak cameras supplied at a low price through mail order vendors such as Dell Computer. This means that while Kodak is selling more units, its profit margins may be low. Art
