Thanks for the clarification. But, these uprisings can spread like wildfire. A few of these Sadr Shi'ites start rebelling and they might cause the old domino effect that we so feared in SE Asia to occur in Iraq. Istead of communists, the dominos will be disenfranchised groups within Iraq who suddenly see force against the Coaltion troops as a feasible option. I could see this spinning out of control quickly. And, perhaps some outside arabs will join the fight as well. Ayyieee! I could see this being a long year for U.S. troops in Iraq. Imagine if we start getting 9 or 10 U.S. troops killed a day this month in Iraq. That would be around 300 U.S. troops killed in one month. That would really start affecting American public opinion about the war, it might even affect the election. Certainly Iraq is one of the biggest wild cards in this election cycle.
