Glitch or April Fools Joke :O)

NEW YORK (Reuters) - First Data Corp., a credit card transaction processor, said a computer glitch led Wal-Mart customers to have their credit card charges posted in triplicate on April 1.

First Data issued the statement late Friday night about users of MasterCard and Visa credit and debit cards and attributed the errors to a computer hardware problem.

First Data said it processed corrections to the affected accounts on Friday and opened a customer hotline for consumers at 1-888-893-0626.
