The people or the companies? You think you're smarter than Dick Feynman or George Akerlof or Melvin Calvin? They all won the Nobel Prize and all spent a large chunk of their life in California. More recent ones at Caltech: pr.caltech.edu Know where Stanford is? news-service.stanford.edu Do you know where Yahoo is? Google? Do you think idiots programmed them? The microprocessoe inside that computer you're on is most likely from either Intel or AMD. And was designed in Silicon Valley in California.
