Sorry for the delay in responding but I have been away for two weeks. <<Does Vivus offer you samples of different strengths to dial your clients in>> Some docs have posted that they are getting some limited samples. I have asked for them but never received any. In fact the only freebie I have ever received from the company was one box of six Actis. <<Are you, and other Docs in favor of office samples, and/or single dose sales?>> It would be a big help. <<Has Vivus corporate or sales reps ever asked how you would like their company to do business with you?>> I posted back in April that I had attended what I would describe as a focus group put on by Vivus, one of a hundred such sessions planned for sites around the country according to the presenter. That is all. I haven't heard from them since. I have never seen a rep. But as I have stated here before, my practice is far from typical and my experience should not be construed as the norm. The same caveat applies to the contributions of the one or two other physicians that have been posting here with far more bullish responses. This is a very small sample. The usual warning about being careful in interpreting what you read here appplies. As an aside, I will be moving in a few weeks (result of my far from typical practice referred to above) so my responses are going to be erratic for a while and then non-existent until I can get re-established after the move.
