I don't need you to tell me about Houston society. My parents best friends are across the board River Oaks/Rice University/Houstonian/Warwick Towers including people who worked at Carlyle and Enron. I get it straight from the source. My parents are also devout Methodists. They and their friends, including former Bush supporters, are all now 100% anti Bush-Cheney-Delay. But the corporate money keeps them in power (for now).
