Promsing start by Sato and holding on to 4th place in the early laps of the first Grand Prix of Bahrain, until Ralf Schumacher spoiled Sato's effort (and his own) by making a basic error as he tried to pass Sato...

I continue to think Takuma Sato is one of the best drivers around and finally this year he may have a fair chance to prove it.

He will need to mature a little more, but today's race indicates he is in the right track.

Unfortunately the incident with Ralf, damaging the front wing forced him to stop and replace the entire nose assembly dropping him quite a few places, then managing to come back and finish in 5th place.... (and still collecting 4 valuable points)

Let's not forget that n Malaysia he was in fifth spot in the dying minutes and his Honda engine gave up on him...

So, along with Button and the entire BAR team without doubt have been the most improved drivers/team of the season...

I wonder if Jaques Villeneuve realizes what he threw away at the end of last year when he was the lead driver for BAR...

Takuma Sato is no doubt grateful for the spoil-brat antics from Jaques Villeneuve...

Oh well....
