Well E, I saw my sister earlier tonight. It turns out she was exactly four months pregnant. She showed me several polaroids pictures of the baby. It was indeed about the size of her hand. She said it was fully developed, albeit the feet were very small. One of the pictures taken soon after giving birth showed the umbilical cord, about the size of a string (1 mm) wrapped around the babies neck. She said there were visible marks around the neck. To post the pictures I would have had to lie to my sister. I'm not prepared to do so, especially since it is something so personal and emotional to her.
