And please tell me how having a large quantity of NATO/UN forces stationed in Palestine would place Israelis in even greater danger than they are now with Islamic Militants threatening major revenge for Yassin's assassination??


Of course it's greater danger, Hawk. I should have thought that was obvious. Those troops are extremely likely to have some other higher priorities than the safety of Israelis, such as their own safety for example. If their own safety should cost a few more Israeli lives, now or in the future, well, that's a tradeoff they may be very willing to make.

But it's never going to happen, so why should we worry about it?
