Why didn't the CPA act last October? Maybe to prevent provoking an outburst amongst Sadr's supporters, as occurred this past weekend. But now that he's decided to unleash them upon Coalition forces, it's time to lock him down.. That article in October was probably just a public warning of what we could/would do, should he get out of line.. Well now he has, and we have to follow through in order to eliminate the threat from his group. Besides, it will be seen by Sunnis as a sign that the CPA is being even-handed in dealing with fanatics from all sides. Hawk
