Those troops are extremely likely to have some other higher priorities than the safety of Israelis, such as their own safety for example.

Again.. you're thinking along the lines of a non-combatant peace-keeping mission. I'm talking about providing them a ROE that includes using force against any party (including the Israelis) should they target one another.

I'm talking about using NATO forces as an interim Palestinian security and police force until such time as a credible internal force has been created and deployed (as in Iraq).

I hardly see how that could make the Israelis "less secure".

But it's never going to happen, so why should we worry about it?
