yeah well I still would like to see the TVs to usher in a new wave of growth not just for Intel but for all semis. I read a piece last weekend that said gross margins on these PC chips (or however they are packaged) is expected to be almost double what the computer chips are fetching now. I tried to find the article again but it vanished. Truth be told, my guess is the real competitor wrt both intel and AMD is probably VIA, and competing there is probably a race to the bottom for both companies.

My concern with TVs is anything non-capex is price sensitive. There is nothing quite like a capex sale and its almost complete immunity to pricing pressure thanks to accounting rules. But that gravy train seems to have moved to asia.
