Is there a specific site you are going to get the fix when an AVG problem exists.

No, I just did a search for Grisoft forum with Google and it led me to the solution. This stuff (computers) changes so frequently I've just about given up keeping bookmarks. Just fire up Google and go get um.

While I was looking it up and constructing that post, shadowman posted a similar link. I'm going to have to be a little quicker from now on. <gg>

May also investigate Avast anti-virus as an alternative to AVG or may even break down and pay for one. I don't open attachments very often but these antivirus programs are detecting more than just viruses now so I sure don't want to be with out updates for very long.
