Well, I beg your pardon, but since it's common knowledge that you won't be voting for George Bush, it's only natural to connect you with that party. Their line is nearly identical to yours.....so much so that I just couldn't tell there was a disassociation from them on your part.

For the sake of national security I don't believe that any president or vp should testify under oath about something as sensitive as war and how the US conducts intelligence. I see nothing wrong with closed door hearings however.
