I've noticed you often use the word "then" instead of "than."

I agree that our economy has a built in unemployment factor, and in fact needs some slack to facilitate changes in the economy.

That's why i find it so disingenuous when conservative say on the one hand 6% unemployment is normal and healthy and on the other hand they blame the unemployed for their plight saying anyone who wants a job enough can get one.

So which is it? If we're going to have an economy where a certain amount of unemployment is natural and healthy, shouldn't we use federal tax dollars to take care of the unemployed when they aren't working?
