I would like to see the young-looking, populist-sounding, trial-lawyer Edwards debate DeathsHead Cheney. That would be worth taking the chance on Edwards. Dems need a southerner or at least they think they do. Probably couldn't hurt. Kerry brings in the military angle, Edwards is the best stump speaker since Clinton minus the policy wonk angle.
