Sure, I can always be wrong. But I know what a "person" and a "child" have always meant in English. And I know that those terms are too inexact for science to speak on. It cannot tell you when a one-celled fertilized ovum becomes a person, and it does not. But we are not helpless. We know, you and I, that those words refer to human creatures with cognition, sensation, and emotion, or those in comas who once had those traits.
