I see.........you would prefer that the corporate world decides what's best for us and not the consumer.

No, I would prefer that the consumer (defined as anyone who consumes and has demand for goods and services so this would also include the corporate world) decides and not the government.

Sometimes, the gov't has to step in to get corps. to do something.......ie pollution controls. The auto companies dragged their feet until state gov't required it in CA.
