I was astounded that Georgia Tech tried to run with UConn early. I was very surprised as well that they launched so many early threes instead of trying to see how the refs would call the inside game if they tried to drive on Okefor. Nevertheless, the way UConn dove for every loose ball and fought for every rebound, they just played like a team that would not be denied no matter what.

However, as much as I enjoyed watching the UConn men win, I still feel like it's not mission accomplished unless the women beat (hated rival) Tennessee later tonight. Who would have ever thought that tiny Connecticut might be considered the mecca of college basketball?
