1. Yes, this is the new DVR service. I was the first in Knoxville TN (I need to update my profile) to get the box, it was a $50.00 install.

2. You do have to subscribe to the digital package, 39.00 a month.

3. I have noticed no slow down on the PC, nor would I expect to the way I understand the process. I watch mostly HDTV which is bandwidth heavy, but I never notice a slow down.

4. Well yesterday I recorded the NCAA game (becasue its starts at 9:00 in the East, and "Old School" so I assume no restrictions.

5. You can FF (3 FF speeds) over commercials.

6. As far as the rollouts, its actually easier to roll these out in smaller markets first due to the changes that have to be made on the system end.
