Sorry to say so but Islam will never accept non muslims to be equals among them, and they will do what ever needed to conquest the west, be it by war or be it by slow immigration and population growth.

"Never" is a very strong word. To what extent is the difference in our cultures an essential difference and to what extent simply that ours is more modernized? We have incidents of disregard for human life in our history that rival what goes on in the ME now. We got over it, mostly. We still have disgusting incidents like that black man in Texas who was dragged behind a car to his death. Yes, our society condemns that. The ME has not yet reached that point. It remains to be seen if they will modernize out of that sort of behavior or if there is some essential stain on their character that will never go away. It is also possible that our old stain could re-emerge if we ever ended up under enormous stress. Somewhere in our national character is the ability to keep slaves and give smallpox infested blankets to Native Americans, acts similar to what we still see in the ME. And Christianity had its share of brutality before it liberalized.

I think we have to recognize when we compare cultures that we're comparing very different points on the modernization timeline and be cautious about declaring flaws in Arab Muslim culture unalterable. They may, indeed, be inherent and persistent, or they may dissipate over time as have ours. I'm not prepared to declare them incorrigible.
