They don't seem to understand the game of poker. When you "call" that's the end of the game.

Actually, when you "call", it requires all players to reveal their hands to see who holds the best hand.

Revealing the best hand ends the game, at least for the losers who have bet too much, and overdrawn their credit.

And I would say that Sadr has overdrawn his credit with the house (Iraqi Governing Council/CPA)..

They have issued an arrest warrant based upon an indictment handed down by a Iraqi judge. It will be enforced by CPA/Iraqi forces and he will be placed on trial.

For Bremer to come out and claim that the rule of law must be upheld means that he cannot show any flexibility towards holding Sadr for trial, regardless of the force that is required to detain him.

What we're seeing now is Sadr refusing to accept the hand he has dealt for himself (thinking he was the dealer), or the credibility of the hand the IGC/CPA has shown.

So he's holed himself up in the Grand Mosque.. Which will certainly invite the interdiction of Grand Ayatollah Sistani's people.

We can wait Sadr out. He isn't going anywhere.
