This isn't a five card game. There's a 13-card deck [all "Hearts" and minds]

Very eloquent metaphor...

If we "arrest" Sadr, we've chosen to draw a new card not knowing whether it will be a higher heart or lower heart.

Another interesting analogy.. But isn't that always the case when it comes to arresting the "rich and powerful"?

The question is exactly how the IGC and CPA present the case against Al-Sadr to the Shiite community. Let's not forget that Al-Khoei, the son of a former Grand Ayatollah, was widely respected within the Shiite community.

Proof being displayed via the confessions of the 23 perpetrators/accessories to his, and Al-Hakim's brutal murder at the Grand Mosque can go far towards swaying support away from him..

After all, the CPA/IGC aren't the only people who have an interest in drawing new cards and hoping for a better card. Sistani and his followers do as well..
