Saxe sold almost 100,000 shares directly into a fluff press release, starting the day of the release on June 24, 2002. As you can see, Ed, the price in 2002 was well under $10 as you indicated.
Saxe and Harary also sold shares directly into the press release of December 17, 1998 when they announced that the goop was sent to MSC to produce SPD. (We know exactly what happened there, don't we?--Absolutely nothing.)
Also, either Saxe, Harary, or both sold directly into a CC in 1999 or 2000 (the one in which they announced Dianippon and Hitachi as goop makers).
In other words, they created hype and then sold directly into that hype.
