Ah, envy upon envies. Well, it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy, good for you!
Here are, incidentally, my predictions for the Klitschko brothers' upcoming fights.
*****
Vitaly Klitschko vs. Corrie Sanders: Vitaly, with the confidence he has developed after his near-defeat (indeed, a defeat on the cards) of Lennox Lewis and his blowout of Kirk Johnson, stops Sanders inside of 5 rounds to become the new heavyweight champ.
I like Sanders, and I think he's a great fighter and a 'cool' guy (a full-time game warden who is, on top of being a professional fighter, a pro-golfer as well), but I think the older Klitschko is the future of the division and has incredible momentum at this point. And, Sanders has shown a disappointing tendency to fall asleep in the ring from time to time, such as he did when he was beating, but ultimately got stopped by, Hasim Rahman. To lose concentration against the older Klitschko is to be put to sleep; it's as simple as that, in my mind.
Wladimir Klitschko vs. Lamon Brewster: Perhaps surprising some, I'll take underdog Brewster over the younger Klitschko in this one. I suspect that Wladimir's confidence is shot after his trouncing by Corrie Sanders, and Brewster is a high-action, hard punching heavyweight who has been hovering at the fringes of the weight class for far too long. I strongly expect Brewster to come out blasting in the first round and, as such, to attempt to test the challenged chin of the larger, younger Klitschko brother. Brewster inside of 4.
