I agree. I once told off a policeman who had made some kind of completely gratuitous patronizing remark to me and then tried to tell me it was just "man-to-man" good humor. I told him what when he had that uniform on it was not man-to-man and he ought to behave professionally. He was so stupid I could easily have said something to drive him up the wall but I didn't.
