All,
I have been looking for a good example of a large Java application
that will run on my Spark 10 (SunOS 4.1.3). Corel had an alpha
Office app I tried some time ago. It was very unstable. I recently
when looking for a newer version of it an found it was not available
any longer. They now have two downloads available: one for the Mac
and one for Windows 95 (at least thats what I recall).

This does not bode well for Java's "write once run anywhere" promise.
Maybe this is a sign of weakness in the Java concept? Since I have
high hopes for Java, I hope not. But I would feel more comfortable
if I could run one copy of source code for a big, complex,
stable, and fast<?> application on my Sun and my PC.

TIA, Shawn.
