I see. So effectively you've admitted the truth of the vulgarity charge. Now the Admin is actually fairly liberal. You can get away with a bit. But there are limits. And should be. The most vulgar post I've ever seen on SI came from one of the miscreants on the PGWB thread. Something about SH and his supposed treatment of women. The post wasn't just vulgar, it was perverted. Two questions: Did you report it? If not, why not? If you didn't, then you have no one but yourself to blame for That miscreant is probably still there and probably still being vulgar and perverted. You know, I'd take a bit of vulgarity as long as it came with an actual point other than: - I disagree with you - you're an idiot The post could at least answer the question...why. OK. Otherwise it's just a waste of everyone's time and thread space. There's lots of wasted thread space on SI. The Boink thread is back to life and it the grand style of its more frivolous days. In terms of seriousness, i's a waste of thread space. For that matter, in terms of the apparent purpose of the site, all the political threads can be considered a waste. And Admin often seems to view them as just that.
