Hawk, Most of your post makes sense, but: Because Bin Laden and his ilk can readily point to the fact that the US has done nothing for the average Arab. Most of the oil rich Arab nations got US dollars for their oil. They got plenty of it, and it's THEIR responsibility to do something with it for the average Arab. As for anti-American rhetoric, we don't have to go too far for that, do we? Who needs militants?
