Why do John Kerry's TV ads lie?

"A Kerry ad released last week that stated, "George Bush says sending jobs overseas makes sense for America." The Kerry campaign cited statements made by some of Bush's economic advisers and in the latest Economic Report of the President. The aides and statements were basically restating a mainstream economic theory that trade benefits the U.S. economy.

Bush has never said "outsourcing," or large-scale shifts of jobs overseas, "makes sense" for the nation. "Falsely putting words in Bush's mouth is deception," Fact Check reported last week.
