Cheney is on the ticket, right? I mean... they wouldn't drop him without telling someone. If you are so concerned about previously proposed gas taxes --- surely you are going to write the WH and urge that Cheney be dropped from the ticket, right? (Or is your concern merely partisan... not really caring about the gas tax at all?) --------------------------- Well, simply that Cheney actually introduced a bill to increase the gas tax (would have added up to about 1 1/2 trillion dollars by now...) and cast a VOTE for it, whereas Kerrey is being hit by attack ads... when he actually never introduced a bill, nor voted for one, merely indicated at one point that he might support one (in connection with a deficit reduction package). What's good for the goose, is good for the gander!
