Flash USB drives are becoming another major market for flash memory. See SanDisk latest introduction of new drives, announced today. It's the convenient way to store images, Power Point files, documents, etc. There is a separate and distinct market for convenience storage, as opposed to back-up or archiving. This convenience market extends to the entertainment business, where a USB flash memory device can be added to an MP3 music device. I'm still waiting for flash storage of medical records, an idea that SanDisk has been tossing around for almost five years, without any progress. Art
