Now that is a fine looking guide. Much better than the dinosaur I suffer through with. I want my interactivity, colors, graphics, and displays. But then again the Internet started out that way as well, as did probably radio and television advertising. It will improve as the years go by, and the richer the interactivity and advertising tools the more it will be worth.

One thing that gets lost in the shuffle when people write off IPG advertising is that the EPG brings in over $100 million a year in advertising. People watch that scrolling guide, pay some attention to the shows, and advertisers are actually willing to pay for television commercials right on top of the EPG. The IPG has gotta be worth so much more than this to sponsors. Or so one might speculate.
