Thanks for your thoughts on AMD and tip on future entry point.
As to if socket 7 will survive, slot 1 cards with socket 7 sockets are being made but they're probably not cheap 'cause INTC gets a royalty on their patent.

BTW, the pretty boys on CNBC were saying that IBM negotiated an extreme lowball price for K6. I don't think the bare die situation has hit the street yet and its implication of K6 capacity.

Also bought some out of money puts to protect INTC 99 Leaps. Hope they expire worthless. :)
