One year after collapse of Soviet system Russia was worse off than under Communists it also was worse off 2,3, 4,5 6,7
years after and complete disaster in 1998.

Sounds about right.......and Russia's was an internal change of gov't and not one fostered by a foreign power like in Iraq. It may take ten years and mucho $$$ to make it happen for Iraq.
