Thank you, Dogbert, for your reply and cogent analysis. Your vivid portrait of Japan Inc. reminds me of a suffering, albeit uncomplaining, patient. Do you think their hope for revitalization lies with a strategic business/industrial alliance with their historical enemies, the Chinese, as some suggest? It is no wonder Bob Brinker has eschewed investment in Japan Inc. for a long while.
